Our Client on the eastside is looking for a strong Test engineer for design verification. The verification will be audio focused and Project responsibilities will include the development and execution of design verification plans for audio-related accessories that contain analog circuitry, signal processing, and microprocessors.

The environment requires a person to have experience in high volume, consumer electronic development and manufacturing industries and a background validating consumer electronics audio performance to industry standards

Minimum Qualifications:
– BSEE required with 5+ years hands-on experience testing audio systems containing microprocessors
– Experience in writing test procedures and documentation/reports
– Demonstrated understanding of digital audio standards such as S/PDIF, 5.1 surround, Dolby, DTS
– Experience with audio test equipment, such as Audio Precision and Clio, HATS, standard microphone, anechoic chambers etc..
- Understanding of modern PC architecture and I/O systems such as USB, Ethernet, SATA
– Experience in hardware prototype bring-up, debug, fault detection, failure analysis, and yield improvement.
– Proficient software competence. Ability to write scripts to automate testing.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to make presentations.
– Demonstrated technical excellence; ability to articulate, solve, and close on technical problems.
– Must be able to work with internal and external silicon teams, developers, test teams, lab technicians, local and overseas test houses.
