Electrical Embedded Engineer

Job Description
Our Client in Seattle is ramping up on a new project and is looking for a senior electrical engineer with embedded software experience.

The project requires an engineer who has proven themselves on multiple projects working with analog and digital PCB circuit design and layout with FPGA and embedded systems.

The ideal candidate will be an Electrical Engineer by education and trade and have strong embedded programming experience based in VHDL and VxWorks. Candidate must have extensive background with Xilinx ISE / EDK.

Candidates must be experienced with capture tools such as ORCAD, as well as software programming using C and Visual Studio to be successful contributors on this project.

Candidates must have experience with the following design areas:
• Brushless / stepper motor drivers / design
• DC to DC power up/down conversion
• CMOS imagers, electro-optical system design
• Software defined radio design and development
• GPS integrated into low power FPGAs

Required Qualifications
- B.S. in EE, CS, CE, Physics, Aero/Astro Engineering or related major or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in PCB circuit design (digital & Analog)
- 10+ years in layout with FPGA and embedded systems
- Highly skilled in ORCAD, Visual Studio
- Xilinx ISE with EDK - (Xilinx Vertex 4 and 5 experience desired)
- Senior to Expert knowledge in VxWorks, VHDL, C
- Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident Alien (Green Card Holder)
